Does Shopify keep my filename?
Shopify uses the uploaded filename in the image's file URL, so a descriptive name shows up there and in your media library. Rename before uploading; Archivist doesn't change images already in your store.
Does it work with product variants?
Yes. The Shopify preset names product, colour, view and variant, so photos of each variant stay apart and easy to match in Shopify.
Can Archivist rename images already in my store?
No. Archivist doesn't connect to Shopify. Download the images, rename them in Archivist and upload them again.
